ASMPT Has Once Again Ranked Among The 10 Best Semiconductor Equipment Suppliers

Hong Kong and Singapore, Wednesday 31 May 2017 - ASM Pacific Technology Ltd. (ASMPT), a world leader in the supply of semiconductor assembly and packaging equipment and materials, as well as surface mount technology applications, announced today it has once again been ranked among the 10 Best Semiconductor Equipment Suppliers in the VLSIresearch’s annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. In particular, ASMPT scores high in field engineering support and overall value. For the past few years, ASMPT has been able to retain this title as customers recognize the Group’s continuous efforts to improve product performance, quality and service.

This year, the award comes in a new five-star scoring format instead of the previous 10 point-scale which makes it more stringent and challenging for the customers to cast their votes. ASMPT in the 2017 survey, is given 4 VLSI Stars and above in terms of recommended supplier, trust in supplier and product performance.

VLSIresearch, a leading provider of market research and economic analysis for the semiconductor industry, received feedback from more than 79% of the chip market and 72% of subsystems customers for the 2017 survey. The surveys spans 2.5 months and participants were asked to rate equipment suppliers in 15 categories based on three key factors: supplier performance, customer performance and product performance.
