Beechroft Environmental Planter Refurbishment

Event Highlights

• On July 9, 2025, three members of the environmental committee who participated in the previous Beechcroft World Earth Day Planter Renovation on April 22, 2025, returned to Beechcroft with six new student members to introduce them to the types of environmental activities the our Weymouth’s team is involved in.
• Our environmental committee collaborated with Beechcroft’s Year 5 class to maintain the school’s garden planters. Activities included clearing debris, cleaning the wood, and applying linseed oil as a weatherproof coating. This ensures the planters remain usable for future student groups. The team also introduced themselves to the Year 4 class to build early awareness of the company’s community involvement.
• The activity helped students become more familiar with the planters and appreciate the resources available at their school. It reinforced their connection to the plants we previously planted and gave them a hands-on experience they genuinely enjoyed.
