Event Highlights

• The Mangrove Warrior event, held on Earth Day 2025, marked ASMPT’s 50th anniversary by engaging 50 volunteers in planting 100 mature mangroves and nurturing 50 seedlings. This initiative symbolized the company’s legacy and commitment to sustainability, highlighting the importance of greenery and mangrove ecosystems in climate action.
• The activity provided hands-on environmental education, empowering participants to contribute directly to climate resilience. Volunteers learned about mangrove restoration by planting mature trees and starting seedlings, which will later restore eroded mangrove areas, ensuring ongoing ecological impact.
• The initiative took place at Tanjung Piai, Johor National Park, a vital Southeast Asian mangrove ecosystem. Restoration efforts here support over 20 mangrove species, enhance biodiversity, protect coastlines, and help combat climate change, demonstrating ASMPT’s dedication to long-term ecological and community well-being.
