TRY-Engineering on Campus – Visit ASMPT Hong Kong Office

Event Highlights

• This is the second year that the IEEE Hong Kong Section is hosting the “TRY-Engineering on Campus” program in collaboration with City University of Hong Kong and Saint Francis University in Hong Kong. TRY-Engineering, a branch of IEEE Education Activities, is committed to promoting science and engineering education to pre-university students, this year with a particular focus on advancing AI technology.
• As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to visit ASMPT Hong Kong office on July 17. This visit is designed to spark curiosity and inspire innovation by giving students a firsthand look at how AI is transforming the future of electronics manufacturing. Guided by our engineers, participants will explore how AI technology is integrated into Advanced Packaging—an area that not only drives ASMPT’s business growth but also represents a critical frontier in high-tech development. By witnessing real-world applications of AI in a cutting-edge industrial setting, students can better understand the potential of AI to solve complex challenges and shape the future of engineering.
• This program aims to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders through hands-on projects and multi-disciplinary teamwork. By connecting what they learn with real-world applications—especially through their visit to ASMPT—students can see how AI technology drives innovation and imagine how they might contribute to the future of engineering.
