A New Benchmark for Large-Format Printing
- Designed for oversized PCBs
The DEK TQ XL processes boards up to 850 × 610 mm, with a thickness of up to 8 mm and a weight of up to 12 kg. Warpage of up to 4 mm is compensated reliably, while the entire board surface is printed in a single process with consistent quality.
- Consistently high accuracy
With a wet print accuracy of ±20 µm @ 2.0 cpk, the system meets the requirements of densely populated, high-value boards and sets new standards in its class. Even minimal deviations directly impact yield – this is where the DEK TQ XL delivers.
- Fast and stable cycle times
A core cycle time of 12 seconds, with a full cycle time of 22.4 seconds, ensures that the printer keeps pace with high-speed placement systems. Cleaning processes and motion sequences are coordinated to maintain stable, repeatable throughput.
Stable Processes for High-End Manufacturing
In advanced applications, solder paste printing has a direct influence on overall line performance. Increasing component density and tighter tolerances leave little room for variation.
The DEK TQ XL delivers a stable, reproducible process with reduced variation and less rework, supporting consistently high yield levels even under demanding production conditions.
Less Manual Effort, More Automation
The system is designed to minimize operator involvement wherever possible. Automated cleaning, verified support pin placement and simplified consumable handling increase machine availability and reduce setup effort.
Program changes are executed automatically via IPC-HERMES-9852, enabling smooth product changeovers across the entire line without manual intervention.
Integrated into Advanced Production Environments
The DEK TQ XL integrates seamlessly into existing SMT lines and supports standardized interfaces for machine-to-machine communication. This allows straightforward integration into automated material flow concepts and higher-level software systems.
In combination with ASMPT software solutions, process data can be used to monitor, analyze and continuously improve print quality.
