Bassel Haddad
Bassel Haddad is Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of ASMPT.
Bassel has more than 25 years of leadership experience across the global semiconductor industry, spanning fabless companies, integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and foundries.
Prior to joining ASMPT, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Foundry Solutions and Technology Platforms at SkyWater Technology, where he led the company’s foundry business, Advanced Technology Services and technology platform offerings, with responsibility for business performance, go-to-market strategy and long-term growth. Before SkyWater, Bassel spent more than a decade at Intel, holding a series of senior leadership positions across product management, engineering and business operations. Most recently, he led Edge Computing and AI initiatives within Intel’s Network and Edge Group, overseeing large-scale product portfolios and growth strategies.
Bassel holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and is the primary inventor on five USPTO-issued patents in digital communications and systems architecture.
